V2.0 Firmware for Public Testing

@VIOFO-Support as mentioned above by @isr25 there is something strange happening with low bitrate parking mode files being moved to the RO folder. In my case, some but not all are being moved. I reviewed the videos in the RO folder - the car was stationary and there were no impacts. I have impact sensitivity set to High. FW V2.1_260702.

The camera is way to sensitive on locking videos while in parking mode..... I'm guessing you are just triggering an event unknowingly.

But there was no impact notification at all. In the previous 2.0 firmware, it would get locked and I would get the impact notification. Seems like most, if not all parking recording (mine is hybrid 1fps -> impact) is being locked for no reason.

It's in settings to enable notifications. I updated and still get impact detected every time i open and close door....

What i mean is that - notifications are already enabled. Parking hybrid is correctly set. Parking files are almost locked for all. But there are no notifications for impact. So why is it locked? if it's locked due to impact detection, why is there no notification? I doubt it's due to impact as almost all parking files are locked.

Is there a way to roll back to the prev version.
I'm gonna have a problem with my battery pack keep going to get connect to the dashcam rendering my phone unable to communicate with the battery.
When they resolve this then it's worth updating

@isr25 @TonyM

I'am finding the same thing, Many Parking files in the RO folder when vehicle stationary and no impact using low-bite rate. This was not happening on previous firmware.
Day after new firmware install, I reduced sensitivity in camera and nothing changed.
It seems like it is also picking up auto-event detection events while in low bit rate because some of these files are when a

"4. Auto Event Detection The camera will automatically record a video sequence while a moving object is being detected during parking mode. It will stop recording when no new movement is detected."
from A329S manual

May have to go back to previous FW.

Is moving back possible?
Can you just download the firmware and rollback.
It wouldn't invalidate warranty or anything would it?

You're free to move back to any previous firmware, and you don't have to upgrade when new firmware becomes available.

The app might prompt you to upgrade but you can ignore that.

Hmm OK maybe that could be an option I didn't think there were other issues wrong with the new firmware other than the Bluetooth battery pack issue.

Like @TonyM wrote.

Yes it is, I keep each firmware version download stored for such reason.
And I agree with you, other operation(s) in the new firmware all seem
to be behaving as they should.

What specific parking mode do you use in hybrid parking?

This is for FWA329T.

Would it work on a329s?

The Front A329S and A329T units are identical. It depends if you have a 3 channel model where it'd make a difference. The T is for telescopic so if you have the 3 Channel S with cabin camera versus telescopic 3 channel T, you would run into issue. If running 2 channels A329s (Front + Rear), then everything should be identical I believe.

I did not have this issue before updating to V2.1, so for me the problem is the firmware, not the dashcam.

I have now changed back to FW V2.0_251027 and the only parking files in my RO folder are triggered when opening and closing the door/tailgate, which is perfect for me.

OK I need to do that at some point.
So long having to load in on the memory card.
Can you confirm which file you downloaded for this?

I also experienced something similar since upgrading firmware v2.0 to v2.1
