Innovv C3 with Remote Lens. With exchangable Wide and Narrow FOV lens

Niko helps us to test dashcam functions, He is doing great job.
But how the C3 works as motorcycle camera? we do not have much experience.
We need someone to test it and tell us what is good and what need to improve.

Not only rich knowledge in product, solid experience in motorcycle ridding, more than that, the testing people should has passion, and happy to support.

I should say, @willy510 is right person, and I am very happy to get him contacted.

In @willy510's photo of his helmet I really like the mounting position and the way the C3 works and looks on a helmet. It is a much more elegant and discreet solution than a GoPro mounted on the top of a helmet as so many riders do.

I've mentioned this before but I thought it might be worth bringing it up again in the context of willy510's post that it is very clear that for use on a motorcycle the C3 will require some sort of protection for the lens against road particles hitting it at high speeds. I envision something like a replaceable lens cap with a clear glass, acrylic or polycarbonate filter incorporated into it. Perhaps the camera could be shipped with one or more and additional ones could be ordered when needed. As a replaceable item it could be another available accessory that might be an additional modest revenue stream for Innovv and vendors.

In case you need another tester for motorcycle and have a spare C3, let me know. I'd still be interested in testing it out.

Testing and review always are welcome, it is the key step in INNOVV new product development.
but this moment we need the focus.

Hi
Been following the innovv C1/2 for a while on here. only just now decided to register to this forum

Was interested in buying the C2, until i saw the C3 post lol.

Have been looking for a Dashcam with separate cams for ages... i want to store it in car glove box with camera mounted either behind mirror. or sticking out the front bumper of the car.

If you need a reseller in the uk. have your tried the following online shops:

www.overclockers.co.uk <- PC + gadgets specialist
www.dabs.co.uk <- PC + gadgets specialist
www.ebuyer.co.uk <- bit of everything!

i know its been mentioned before, but, whats the reason for have a non-standard USB port? surely it would make hense to stick to standard?

Also if you need another tester, im willing to provide feedback/test on the camera. My main usage would be dashcam in car. helmet bike riding and surfing? (if i could lol).
Finally theres a manufacturer that would allow customer feedback to help produce the right product!

Let me know

Happy to see you are joining us and share your ideas. :)

I would say the idea of C3 was not coming from us alone, Like you, people always have more ideas and needs, we just make it happen.

Listen to people, people will give you ideas of what product to develop, also help to test the product base on their solid experience and rich knowledge, you can do improvement base on feedback, more than that, the discussion on the forum helps to draw more people's attention, let the product to be well known.

Do you think is there any reason block me discuss with people on the product since development?
If so, the only reason is sharing ideas and development on public allows copy to be easy.

Yes, it had been mentioned before.
The more pins give the options to additional usage, maybe it is not a good idea.

It will be changed to standard, but not on C3.
I could not make change and improvement one day, but once I promised it should happen the end.

not sure what you mean by that question.?

Looking at the product, im still a bit unsure on whats included in the package and how it fits together.

am i to say its...

Car socket - > mini usb charger adaptor -> non-USB 4m cable -> C3 unit -> hdmi cable -> C3 Camera

Does it support more than 1 camera? i.e. a HMDI adaptor? or would another HDMI port have to be added?

Is it worth making the non-USB into a actual USB? again not sure why its not, what's different about it? Power/audio etc can be used through usb.

Is the microphone built into the c3? can this be turned off if not required?

I am also worried that the HDMI for the camera is not long enough. If for example, i just want to put the c3 in the glove box, but allow the camera to reach up to the windscreen mirror?

As mentioned before, we always need the product testing and reviewing from people.
But at this stage, the reviewer has professional skill, rich knowledge and solid experience are very important.
We need the very valuable feedback and close communications, and even DIY from tester.
As this moment, we do not have time to waste, we need the focus.

As the C3 was originally conceived as a bike cam then it's motorcyclists who are needed for testing. We already have Niko evaluating it as a dashcam and Willy510 testing it on the bike.
May I respectfully request that you get in the queue? :D

We always need resellers, we would like to have resellers from country to country, our customers can buy from local for fast delivery and close service.
I am not a good sales person, and don't like sales job, I prefer to spend more time to discuss with people and do development.
the resellers can do good sales job.

I am looking for sales representative from countries to approach local resellers, that will be easy and convenient.
You and others can help?

I under this. However the C3 is unique for car owners as it allows us to hide all traces of the box, and only have a discrete camera showing. ditto with other activities. Would love to strap this to my dogs head lol

I will get in the queue :)

May i suggest marketing the c3 base unit separately, then have the accessory packages for different uses. for example. Car package comes with longer camera lead, adapters and mounts. Bike package, with mounts.... Sports package, head set mount... etc etc

that way you buy the main unit, and add flexible addon options to suit your requirements.
The main unit can then be reduced in cost, as this will reduce the need in supplying unwanted accessories in the package to start with. i.e. a motorbike might not want a 4m power lead etc.

or package up a box with suitable accessories for. dashcam, bikecam, sportscam. doggy cam :)

am i making sense?

LOL :)

I had my C1 attached to the collar of my friends dog, but sadly the collar was pretty tight and stiff leather so the angle of the footage was bad.

My friends dog have died since then, and the puppy he got today is kinda small even for a C1, but that will change soon as its a rottweiler / mastiff mix.

Damm cute puppy :) had to visit him today to see the new dog and borrow his cable so i can re-program the sound bord in my train

the way i wanted to set up the C3 was have a the unit mounted somewhere in my center console, with the lens in the rear window as a rear camera. could also be a main front camera too but the main idea was to have the main unit placed somewhere in the center console or in my console box between the seats.

when i tried my C2 in my rear window it stopped recording for no known reason. i could see the camera had gone on standby even tho it was recording earlier, but since i am driving and its in the back of my car i cant do anything about it until i park and can get out of my car to get into the back seat. i envisioned using two, front and back, with both mounted by my accessory port. would make for a very discrete installation and would keep the main united away from the hot windshield area.

before i make a stupid comment.

is the camera hardwired to the cable? or is there a hdmi port/plug under the back bubble case bit of the camera?
