My unit is not displaying the correct time and date. It always defaults to September 2013. I suspect the problem started after the last firmware update. I can't change the time or date and can only change region. Its supposed to get the data from GPS isn't it? Anyone knows of a fix for this?

Yup. Its hard wired via power magic. I wonder if the wifi makes the unit much hotter... especially after transferring files.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. The front fuse box doesn't have any switched power. All of the, remain on even if engine is off. I had to wire it to the rear boot switch box. The bummer is accessing the boot as my car doesn't have a foldable rear seat. Anyway, I stopped being a perfectionist...

Just got this cam and installed it today with power magic. Parked and checked on it after a few hours. The camera itself is pretty hot. Almost uncomfortable to touch. Is this normal? It is set as parking mode. Any ideas?

I do that but it always says "unable to login". Only way is to search for camera and reenter password each time.

I'm unable to copy files over from cam to phone memory as well. I can't find the option to do so. Also, do you guys have to search for the cam and enter the password everytime you log on?

that would mean removing the radio! not an easy task for this car. I've just thought of tapping onto the central cig adaptor. Maybe that might work.
