0806 developed an audio issue

Hey guys, my 0806 started making a loud buzzing noise because it overheated in the hot aussie weather.
After i unplugged it, it seemed to work okay, but the audio in the video now has a buzzing noise and video gets abit choppy. I've reset it but no luck. Also sometimes it will keep booting in a loop.

Any ideas? I've had the cam since its release.

Probably needs the battery replaced, they are normally as good as new with a new battery fitted.

These mini 0806's have so many battery issues that the manufacturer really needs to redesign it with a user replaceable battery.

there's some other similar versions where that's happening, ideally batteries are not the way to go but there is also a similar model with capacitor due for release soon

Batteries are cheap. Why not replace it and see what happens?

Yeah perhaps i could give it a shot, but the 0806 has other issues i'm afraid is not linked to the battery, like the dashcam locking up for instance.
Better to change up than to put up i reckon.
