1.st dashcam - which one?

Hi,

I am new in this forum, but read some posts about dash cam.
I need to buy my 1.st dash cam. Now I have on my car rear parking camera connected to my GPS unit with 2,5mm AV-IN.

Now i need to help with choosing my dash cam.

My requirements:
- good day video
- night video is not most important
- AV-IN for my rear parking camera or dash cam with rear camera (my parking camera will be dismantled) - when i reverse gear I can see behind me
- price around 60€ and max. 100€ (if it is possible) - but if dash cam is good enough i can pay few € above limit
- from reliable seller in EU/UK - in case of good price/parameter I can buy from US (not from China)
- ideally no fake dash cam
- ideally the smallest

Can someone help me with choosing my dash cam?

After reading this page i have som new info.
I found that dual camera for me at the price of 100 € in the absence of reasonable quality. Therefore, I think about rear-view mirror with AV input for rear camera and a single camera on the windscreen.

I like A118/Mobius/Mini 080x. Maybe best for me is A118 which is good design and not visible on windscreen.

Which of these cameras do you recommend? Or has anyone some tips for me? I do not need to record video from parking camera, only from front camera.

The Panorama G has support for AV-IN.

If you use this new extra short pan/tilt - swivel mount it fits behind the mirror quite nice.

Since you want to see the screen as a backup monitor you'll want to let it hang a bit lower though.

Pier28: Panorama G is very good dashcam but is too expensive for me - $215 + $18 (Postal Service) + 20% tax + 1-4% customs = $280 - $290

Pier28: only Panorama G has AV-IN? What about Panorama S?

Only G does correct. That port on the S is for external GPS which is already built into the G.
