2nd camera compatibilities

So i was using the panorama x2. Hardware Quality is the best, Software is crap. It failed several times when i needed it the most. I was wondering if i could use the second camera with another brand unit? Or maybe connected to a mini pc? I dont want to sell a crap to someone, so trying to get the best parts of it... Any ideeas?

No, it use a USB plug as i recall, but not the USB standards, there is send/receive chip sets in either end to transmit the camera signal.

I am using now X2 rear camera with SGZC12RC.
I had Panorama X2 installed in my car, properly installed / hidden all cables, but after I stopped using X2 some time ago I did not had time to remove rear camera video cable, so now I am using X2 camera + video cable with SGZC12RC. Works perfectly.
