Hard wired includes rear camera.
Worked fine for 2 years.
Now blue light comes on with ignition
But red led does not light.
Screen blank.
Tried formatting SD card
Pressing reset etc. With SD out
But nothing.
I assume it's goodnight Vienna for the dashcam

Another battery bites the dust

I see you can by a replacement battery.
But I would need to buy a soldering iron etc.
Is there anyone who repairs them?

Nextbase, but at just over £30 is it good money chasing bad

£30 plus your postage to return it is much cheaper than a new one. Whether the 422GW is the best dashcam out there noting it relies on batteries is a moot point but £30 for 2 more years use is fair value and you do not have to worry about wiring it in or the rear view cam.
