Hello!

I'm looking for a 3 CH dashcam, some time ago i was ready to buy the Viofo A139 Pro but now it seems to be discontinued.

4G LTE i think it's gonna be useful, even though the recording time on car's battery will be quite low and i'm not planning to use a power bank. Also the parking mode is important to me, i don't know which one is the best on this side.

I have found these 2 cameras, with similar prices, what i do like and dislike about them:

70MAI T800

+ quite slim cables
+ 4G hardware kit -> i like this idea because are less cables to install and i don't want the LTE module to stick on the windshield.
+ integrated cabin camera (this can be also a downside because i want to place the camera behind the rearview mirror, as hidden as possible)
+ bigger community and informations

- price (i can get the Z90 master cheaper)
- parking mode from what i read is not that good, also it doesn't have video buffering or low bitrate.

DDPAI Z90 Master

+ i can get it cheaper than T800.
+ separate cabin camera (this can be also a downside because of the extra cables)
+ might have a better parking mode?
+ you're not limited on 4G cloud view as on the 70MAI.

- annoying thick USB-C cables, pretty bad connection idea.
- 4G module i guess it must be fitted on the windshield.

I need some help in choosing one dashcam, if you have any other recommendations i'm all ears 🙂

Thank you!

I just ordered the DDPAI Z90 Master since the price was unbeatable, 322$ with 3 channel cams, 4G LTE module and hardware kit.
How are you liking the z90 master? I’m currently in the market for a dashcam

I think viofo a229Pro is more suitable for you

@haiou_f , why do you think that?
The more I look, the more confused I get. I am in the market as well. I was looking at the Mai70 T800 and the Vantrue Nexus 5s. Then I was told that Vantrue had issues with their LTE, and mai had issues with spooling up in parking mode. So I looked at BlackVue DR770x pro, everything sounded great, except it was 1080P. I could make do with that until I priced it out with the options, the LTE monthly fee, and the cloud. At that point, the price was too high, so I am back searching again.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I think the A229 Pro suits you better for two reasons. First, the interior camera allows you to choose the installation position freely. Second, its front camera delivers clearer image quality. The T800 is also a good option. Its interior camera is relatively clearer, but you can’t install it wherever you like, and its front camera is slightly less sharp than the A229 Pro.I haven’t used the Z90 myself, but I’ve read plenty of reviews. Many users say its license plate recognition performance at night is not very satisfactory. You might also want to check out the Vantrue N4 Pros and N4S.The inside cabin camera on the N4S does 2K resolution, so it’s way clearer than the N4 Pros interior cam. But the front dash cam on the N4S isn’t quite as good as the one on the N4 Pros.

I did look at the a229 briefly, it looks good so far. I will look deeper tomorrow. Thank you for the heads up.
My main requirements.
1- clear video in low light
2- minimum of 30 seconds pre-episode.
3- small footprint
4- LTE with auto upload to the cloud
5- 360 view can be combined with # 6
6- interior passenger view
7- minimum size so cameras are near hidden
8- I have zero need for a display, as I want to have the ability to view on my phone and computer.
The Blackvue 770x pro hit most of these using the box as a hub-mounted in-dash or elsewhere. The major downside was it is only 1080p, plus with the cost of the additional options made it out of the price range I want to be in.
Based on my criteria, I am open to any more suggestions, or things I need to watch out for?

Based on your requirements, the T800 would be a better fit for you, as it features 4G remote monitoring capability. But it is slightly larger in size
