In Danish anker means anchor, so no wonder that thing is heavy to lug around :p

It means also an anchor in some other language I speak ;)

Having heavy "brick" in your pocket has few advantages:

1. You always know its there
2. It helps you to stay on your feet when its windy outside

I'm kind of late answering the OP but I chose a super-cap dashcam solely because of known heat issues. I would have preferred a battery model but reliability is most important to me. Looking forward to the new product!
