A119 won't record (format disk stays up)

Did you format the card on your PC? If not, maybe try that, then format again in the camera.
 
Yesterday I got a new SD card, formatted it using the PC and started using it in the dashcam. It didn't record although there was no error message. I reformatted it today on the dashcam, and thus far it seems to record fine. Lessons learned" Always format using the dashcam, and always check the video files on a new card.

The dashcan is a A119 gen 2, and the card is a Lexar 633x 64GB, bought from Amazom.
