A119S V2 vs. A129 if used as a single channel camera?

Any advantage to the A129 vs. the A119S V2? I just ordered a kit with the A119S V2 for a forward only solution (the vendor claims recent 2018 stock so I'm not sure if that means I am getting the apparent THIRD revision to the A119S lens that supposedly uses the lens from the A129?) vs. getting the A129 for the "latest" and greatest in 1080p lens/sensors from VIOFO? I assume the answer (short of those who prefer the 1440p A119 V2) is the A119S or is the difference in video quality really noticable? Thanks!

Advantages include, option to add a rear camera later, Wi-Fi + app, bluetooth remote (once available).

Latest stock means same lens as the A129.

Daytime A119 is better.

Thanks so much. In that case the increased cost isn't worth it for my current application (small 2017 Civic Hatchback) where I don't want to use a rear camera and I believe the Sony sensor and A129 style lens in the A119S V2 (with 3rd revision lens) should give me nearly identical image quality. That said the A129 looks like a killer product for 2CH applications and I intend to replace a family SUV with a new one within the next 6 months and I think I'll go with A129 and front and rear cameras for that (currently doesn't have a dashcam and I don't want to deal with the hassle of wiring up one for a car I'll have just a handful of more months.) Thanks!
