A800S Bricked / Dead ?

I was updating to a custom firmware and ran into issues. The microsd card was not installed correctly and came out during the update. The screen and status led are now black and it appears that it no longer powers on.

I have tried flashing various firmwares including the service firmware with no success.

Is there any other methods I could try to fix this? or is the dashcam no beyond repair?

Any help appreciated.
 
Some additional information.
I have opened the dashcam and removed the battery.
When plugged into a USB powerbank. I can see the dashcam is still drawing power as if was on.
