Yeah i would not put my hat on parking mode, while it is a long time part of dashcams, i still feel like it was just the forerunner of things like ADAS / LDWS and what not in dashcams.
And it is a bit sad it give people high hopes,,,,,, like the prospect of plate capture also do, but everything are often a coin toss i am afraid.
I will still be using parking mode when i get to sample that, but i just look at it like buying a lotto ticket, maybe one day you will get lucky.
