Assistance in determining dash cam type

Hi all,
I purchased myself a new dash cam on Ebay, am quite happy with it. However I have a question that someone of you might find it interesting; I am trying to determine which type it is
Having googled around I'm guiessing it is either GS1000 or GS5000 but I am not sure. I've attached box pictures.

Given the fact that this it has firmware version: V2.0.6 G2KB A - is there an upgrade or modified version that would allow me viewing speed in km/h instead of mph ?

looks like a generic GS1000 on the box pic, as long as you're happy with it is all that really matters
