Maybe someone has a raw video?
I've got one on pre-order with Blackboxmycam. Estimated release is the first week of September.

Will post raw video here when it's received.

According to the manual, the recording time for 60fps and 30fps is the same. I'm curious if 60fps is using a different type of encoding like x265.

I'll watch the raw video and make some conclusions

According to blackboxmycar website, it's using H264.
I guess 60fps option will result in smoother video, but reduced picture quality

is it safe to assume the cam in the 1CH kit is identical to the one in the 2CH kit? ergo video from the 2CH cam will be the same?

No one has bought this yet? Looking to replace my unreliable dash cam and this seemed like a good one.

What sort of features are you looking for? The 1CH version isn't very popular but the front camera is essentially the same as the much more popular 2CH.

I think the only difference is you have no option later.. to add a rear camera. But it is cheaper so if you "never" want to have a rear camera.. this, is the one to get. Reading all the issues about the 2 channel camera.. perhaps one should wait a bit to see if firmware and quality control fix things. At the moment.. this latest version is not yet ready for prime time.. more of a beta perhaps.

BlackVue DR750S-1CH (v.1.003_2018.01.31)

https://autodvr.by/download/dr750s-1ch-v1.003-eng.zip

https://autodvr.by/download/dr750s-1ch-v1.003-rus.zip

WHAT’S NEW:
Improved image quality:
– Decreased sharpening for a more natural-looking image and overall improved details.
– Better noise reduction at night and in dark environments.
IMPORTANT: new Brightness Default value: 3. Since the DR750S Series retains settings upon upgrade, you may want to readjust the Brightness on your dashcam after upgrading (previous firmware version’s default Brightness was 1).
New Extreme Mode with 25Mbps bitrate for the front camera. Please note: file size and Wi-Fi transfer time will more than double if you choose this mode.
New Enhanced Night Vision setting options: On (Always) / On (Parking mode only) / Off.
New Wi-Fi Auto Turn On option (On/Off).
Improved Cloud hotspot connection scenario and fixed Cloud-related voice alerts.
Improved Parking Mode Voice Notification scenario to reduce false positives (such as opening/closing doors): the dashcam will ignore all Events occurring in the 3-minutes before exiting Parking Mode.

Note on the Parking Mode enhancement (previously added to a 650S firmware): it doesn't actually "ignore" these events. The camera will still record it as an Event, and the LED will flash red to indicate it saw the event. The only thing it doesn't do is the voice announcement.
Still an improvement, but use of the word "ignore" is a bit misleading.
