C600 with Novatek NT96220FG audio/video bit rate for 720P video.

Reading threads here, over 15mbps is only with decent 1080p cameras.
My el' cheapo C600 has this audio/video bit rate for 720P video using Mediainfo.

Overall bit rate: 18.1 Mbps
Video:
17.1 Mbps, 1280*720 (16:9), at 30.000 fps, JPEG
Audio:
512 Kbps, 32.KHz, 16 bits, 1 channel, PCM (Little / Signed)

Your cam encodes video in MJPEG or Motion JPEG format which needs lower compression ratio to maintain decent picture quality, hence the high bit rate. Most other cams use H.263(H.264) codec capable of much higher ratios without degrading the details too much. The comparisons usually assume this latter codec is used.
