I don't yet know if it is the card, but this is the card I was using when the problem occurred. H2testW completed with no errors.

No, I never heard of Speedout0.5 until now. Thank you for the suggestion. I will download it and check the card.

EDIT: I ran this test several times. Reading speeds were always around 87-88 MB/s, writing speeds around 60 MB/s. A 64gb Pro Endurance (also blue and white) tested at about 88 MB/s reading speed, but writing speed was only in the 10 MB/s range. I don't know why the two would be so different.

Roughly a month later, and the problem has not reappeared. The firmware update and/or formatting the card seems to have done the trick.

Thank you. I am working with support after submitting a ticket. A firmware upgrade plus reformatting the micro- SD card is working for now, but since the problem was intermittent I'll wait a couple of weeks before saying that it is corrected. I suspect the problem may be limited to one card out of the three I have been using. If the camera continues to behave then I will switch back to the suspect card and see if the problem reappears.
