As we build the app on our framework , it can support AMBA & NTK default GPS format and we will add other IC API as a module into our framework gradually. Our intention is to support as many IC as we can ......

I think this has great potential, would like to see a working sample when it's available, Android or iOS with support for Novatek platform

I believe the FN Cam supports Novatek chipset cameras, while the LinkinEyes support the Ambarella chipset one.
From my experience, I prefer to use FN Cam to used with my SJ5000X Elite, while LinkinEyes with the SJ5000+.
Both performs better (at least on my OnePlus One), compared to SJCAM official apps.

thanks but I was asking about the new app they're working on with GPS mapping, has been in development for some time already

I am using autobot (Novatek) wifi cam and mini0902 (Ambarella) wifi cam in the car, I need an iphone universal app that can connect two cams at the same time, could you make it please? I don't mind paying up to $5

Will this work with my M20 4K cam. It claims a Novatek 96660. I was using Canany app, but it won't link with camera since update.

sorry for late reply . our schedule is a little delay due to many customer project . we alreay done the map function on ios and read the on the go file on android. plan to conplete android map in July and support OTG Gps in Aug .

FN cam can link Navatek 96660 , but it may not show the resolution above 1080p due to the camera firmware need support the dynamic list.

Excellent thanks for the update. If you get OTG on Android support working that would be awesome.

For iPhone/iPad, The new 3rd party iReader lightening card reader seems to work well if you can add support file reading support from that. The standard Apple Camera Connection kit isn't compatible but the 3rd party iDiskk devices can read all dashcam videos no problem.

Direct support would be great, but worst case transferring the video to the iOS device camera roll first is another option.

We aleady made the android OTG function ready, so now our app can read the file from the memory card through OTG card ready . Next step is to know the format of GPS in the video , then we can extract the GPS data from the video . Due to the format may different in differet cardv , we need to find the data format with cardv makers. if anyone can provide us the format with the video with GPS yo us , it can help us to speed up ,thanks !
