Fusion Next app : Linkineyes for Ambarella A7L, FN cam for Novatek 9665X

Currently we only support the phone's GPS data, due to there is no standard gps format in the video file.

You can always start with Street Guardian SG9665GC GPS data embedded into .MOV files since it's from a NT96655 CPU that should carry over to other devices.
I'll let Rick post a sample via http://mega.co.nz to make sure the latest standardized version was used to look at.

What about if I want you to do a version for our cameras, you can do it?

Little point to have support for phone GPS as phones make terrible dashcams anyway

Sure, we can do it. but it relatives to business term ;). I suggest to test our app first ....

Me too! I wonder what registrator Viewer does to have such broad compatibility with various GPS-equipped cameras..

If the player isn't able to utilize the GPS data either embedded in a video file or the file structure on a given SD card, it will have no more value than current video apps that can already play OTG files (ie mxplayer).

What would differentiate your app from those (for users that don't have a WiFi camera) is that ability to view maps and speed while watching the video.

Thanks for your feedback, we will discuss with IC maker for their current standard GPS format embedded in video file and try to support it.

there's a much bigger market potential for the app to playback car camera files than there is for turning phones into dashcams, phones make for terrible dashcams

Ditto @Pier28. These are all nice-to-have features, but still ignore the very real demand for a quick, simple, efficient way to view video (and telemetry) recorded on microSD cards from various cameras.

Due to different camera may have different gps storage format, we are working on this and plan to support general format first.
