Garmin Dash Cam 67W….connected to battery, but not staying on?

Hi,

I purchased a Garmin 67W Dash Cam. Specifically to utilise the automatic recording and parking guard. Despite using the Garmin Parking Mode Cable and attaching the power cable marked battery, to the battery (BATT)and earthing using (GND). The camera does not stay on constantly. Does anyone know why? What does the cable marked ACC connect to, or is that the problem? Or is their something on the camera I need to set to constant? As each time I drive, I have to switch on manually, which most of the time I forget to do.
