Not all flash memory is created equal. I've had brand new cards only do 14-15mbps write and 70mbps read. And it wasn't a no name or fake. Genuine transcend 32gb full size SD card.I doubt a 3 year old card are only 20mbps ,thats is equal to 2.5MBytes/ s.
A flash drive in 2007 could do 6MBytes/sec
I think you are confused ,there is a difference between mega Byte and mega bits. Not all flash memory is created equal. I've had brand new cards only do 14-15mbps write and 70mbps read. And it wasn't a no name or fake. Genuine transcend 32gb full size SD card.
not confused. just wrote that on my phone and didn't capitalize. i'm well aware of the difference between a bit and a byte. that's why we talk about the BITrate of a video file, and MB/s transfer rates.I think you are confused ,there is a difference between mega Byte and mega bits.
All SD cards advertize the speed in mega Byte, where as the the video industry use bits .
8mbps of video means 1MByte/ sec.
Your windows pc/laptop is going to show the write speed in mega Bytes .
The FPV user and I also did some testing for non-brand 4GB card, it seems also works in 1080P mode.i still maintain that not all flash memory is created equal. you can still buy class 4 (and lower!) cards today. they're often peddled to people who don't know any better or simply don't care. slow cards like that are generally fine for mp3 players, cheap still cameras, and low-rez video recorders (i use an 8gb class 4 card in my 2-channel VGA dashcam).
The Git2 internal mic sounds the best of those samples! We upgrade the audio quality on Git2.
1. Upgrade the internal MIC
2. Support stereo audio with external stereo MIC, automatically detect if the external MIC is stereo or Mono version.

To use this better Japan internal MIC, we redesigned the PCB, delayed releasing, also the cost is near 4 times double than old version, but is acceptable. The Git2 internal mic sounds the best of those samples!
The Hero4 has too much bass, is not as clear and has an automatic volume control that has made the quiet bits the same volume as the loud bits.
The SJ5000X_Elite has sounded like you are listening from underwater in every clip I've heard from it so far.
Most of my tar barrels video used a pair of Boya LM20 microphones connected in stereo, they do sound better than the internal mono microphone, although it sounded even better before Youtube got it.
The git1 can use an external mic too, but yes its internal mic is way too loud when used outside the waterproof case. That is good to hear as Git1 sound was really a major slip.
The Git1 sound is good if you are recording something that is the correct volume, or have a microphone of the correct sensitivity, unfortunately the volume is often out of range and it doesn't cope with that well. That is good to hear as Git1 sound was really a major slip.
Before we are not satisfied with low volume on Git1, so we try to turn it up, but it will be over loaded in some conditions, we will do some adjusting in future. The git1 can use an external mic too, but yes its internal mic is way too loud when used outside the waterproof case.
Problem is, the git1 is an action camera. It should be able to record even middling sound levels without clipping, but it can't. I haven't been to another race to try with and without the waterproof case, but I wonder if it will even do properly then. The Git1 sound is good if you are recording something that is the correct volume, or have a microphone of the correct sensitivity, unfortunately the volume is often out of range and it doesn't cope with that well.
The Git2 appears to be able to manage any volume with decent quality.
I think it would be neat if you had a menu option to toggle between two or three different mic sensitivity levels. Say super sensitive for when it's in the waterproof case, and one or two lower ones for when it's out of the case. Before we are not satisfied with low volume on Git1, so we try to turn it up, but it will be over loaded in some conditions, we will do some adjusting in future.
We also care the audio quality on Git1, tried many solutions, but the MIC is not so good as Git2.
Yes, we tried that before releasing, but the result is not good. We will recheck it after Git2 releasing, wish it can be implemented on Git1.I think it would be neat if you had a menu option to toggle between two or three different mic sensitivity levels. 1. GitUp cameras can use SJCAM battery, but our battery can not be used for SJCAM as battery size is a little bigger.got some doubts for Git2
1) is the battery can be used for Sjcam as well?
2) is AoV 160 or 170?
3) how we claim the warranty if something no going well?
4) which sensor is better : IMX206 or imx078
thanks =]
