1) Buy a cheap polarized sunglass clip (2-3 bucs)
2) remove glasses (I used a dremel to get the pins out)
3) cut/dremel "glasses" to size/form
4) bend the glass holders slightly inward

and hey presto....

Now you can simply flip up the filter if you don't want it, without having to take it all off, and the polarized filter always sits correctly, don't need to turn endlessly......

Well, I hope, still need to test on a sunny day..... fingers x......

can you copy the link of the same glasses you bought?

cant think of a use for that other than keeping the constant rain off when transporting it to the car !!!!!!

owh snap.....

But if it works, it will take the reflections out of the windshield.....

I don't even know yet if it works, I may be able to test this afternoon.....

you will probably need to rotate the filter to the correct position.

Yeah, I'm affraid for that too, but it rotates nicely, so....

we need to cut it (to length) only after we rotated it and marked the correct position.

Alright guys, check for yourselves......

At the gas station I started at 0 degrees (upright, like in the 1st post), then turned to 45, 90, 135 and 180 degrees.

So, luckily this works like a charm!!! :)

you've turned you Mobius into an old man with flip up sunnies :D

Yeah I know, but old men usually get it done right...... in the end ..... ;)

Shades flipped up while driving at 0:20.

It's not sunny at all, but still the vents and the blob in the middle pop right up when the shades flip up...... Also we can safely conclude that when using the filter, the sharpness does suffer a bit in cloudy weather at dawn, it was getting dim outside......

Check the back glare from the filter, can also see the contour of the Mobius lens.

That's hopefully sorted with a piece of cut out foam that wrapps around the lens.

And then I found these!!!

Bought it once for testing, never got to it, but now I have some day's off, and these might kill the glare for the night rides, without darkening the wole picture too much.....

fingers crossed again....

Link to sunglasses clip? I believe this can also be done with the 3d glasses from the movie theatres

Btw how did you managed to mount it to the mobius?

yeah, but they need lining up..... they're not already set for sunlight. I tried them too, but polarized sunflippies are simply upright mounted and good to go.....

Btw how did you managed to mount it to the mobius?

Here's what I did:

Gently file of the pins on the inside of the glasses [...I used a dremel type rotation tool...], then use a pick / punch tool to push the pins out, and take of the glasses).

To mount it safely and firmly on the mobius lens: the (metal) parts that held the glasses must be bent gently inwards (between lens and body), so that it doesn't fall off too easy.

Cut sunnies lens to size (not too small....), make sure top of the lens is also on top when inserted into clip on Mobius.

Check the pictures in 1st post.

That's all folks.

HAPPY ANTI GLARING Y'ALL!!
