One thing for sure, is that the supplied cigarette socket is definitely compatible, and remember it is the correct converter also, (12v to 5v step down with the correct amperage) It then may be better to just buy a female cigarette socket and "add a fuse" link to connect this up. One thing to check, is that you have enough room to hide the female cigarette skt, and make sure you tape the male/female connection together to stop it eventually working apart, due to vibrations. Also, check what type of fuse blade your car requires for the add a fuse type you purchase. I would fit a 5amp fuse personally, as this is just under the amperage the unit draws.
