Uk stock please.
seen lots on amazon for about £5 but not too sure on quality of these items.

You are safe with the ones sold by Viofo A119 sellers.

enjoy,

The first is interesting because it have angled version but is only 1.5A. I have the second sold by Spytec and is OK.

Thanks it was the spytec version you said was ok that had a lot of bad reviews about voltage fluctuations ect !

Mine is working OK.

Your bottom link https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/B00MH4ZVHO gets slated on Amazon, even saying it doesn't go with this unit, and yet it is the one the viofo site advertises for hard wiring??
yes that's what i was concerned about must be a decent made reliable hard wired kit i can use ,just wondered what other people had used on here, used a power magic pro before but dont want the parking mode ect just want the camera to power up with the car.

No not getting one of the spytec ones ,got people on amazon saying they are junk. voltage all over the place and fried the camera !!! dont think so .

One thing for sure, is that the supplied cigarette socket is definitely compatible, and remember it is the correct converter also, (12v to 5v step down with the correct amperage) It then may be better to just buy a female cigarette socket and "add a fuse" link to connect this up. One thing to check, is that you have enough room to hide the female cigarette skt, and make sure you tape the male/female connection together to stop it eventually working apart, due to vibrations. Also, check what type of fuse blade your car requires for the add a fuse type you purchase. I would fit a 5amp fuse personally, as this is just under the amperage the unit draws. I've linked to some products you may find useful.

Brilliant many thanks :):)

I've fitted my Viofo A119 this morning, Still waiting for my Transcend 64gb card
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/B01BDKTRAE
I also had the opportunity to buy the /s version of this cam, but on watching test footage, I actually found that the A119 had much better overall sharper image quality, although the /s vers was better at plate recognition. I easily hid the supplied feed cable around the window and under the passenger side dash, then came out neatly by the centre, where I had my on-board cigarette lighter skt. I'ts a neat job and saved me the cost and time of fitting as I've shown above, and I also have another power skt b by my handbrake.

Here's some very good links I found useful

I bought a 90 Degree Left Angle Mini USB 5 Pin Male to Female Extension Adapter off fleabay. You must get left angle to make it point to the top of the window.

@niko sells the high quality CPUSB01 mini-USB hard wire kit on Amazon UK and direct. (very stable/reliable components)

Then you obviously don't need one, as the input to the gps is at the top. You don't really need an angled USB connector for the side input for that matter, it's just a personal preference, and makes it a tad tidier I suppose.

To be clear, the angled USB connector was purchased to fit onto the Viofo A119's supplied USB lead which is straight, not for fitting on the advertised lead with an angle USB already on.
