Help.... No Menu

Im not technically sound......had unit for 1 day, no problems. Now, no menu w SD card inserted. I see a pink light blinking. I remove the card and have menu but obviously, not recording. Is the sd card the problem, I just bought it

no access when the card is in can be a card problem, make sure to stop any active recording first as most cameras will lock you out of the menu if recording

Its the G1W. I made sure the cam was not in record mode. Same problem. Menu is there when card is removed. When I place it in, the unit shuts down. I turn it on and there is no menu/mode function. Remove card and menu appears.

Do you have other memory card to try ?

Turn the camera off.
Then insert the card.
Then turn it on.

And try another card.
