How to update firmware from Vicovation?

I tried a search but I wasn't successful.
Anyways how does a COMPLETE COMPUTER NEWBIE with a Mac update the firmware of say a Marcus 3 or a TF2??
Do I need a card reader plugged into the USB? I need "non technical" Laymans terminology instructions…LOL…How do I transfer the downloaded file into the card?

for most cameras it's just a bin file which needs to be copied from your computer to an empty memory card, put it in the camera, turn the camera on and away you go, you'll need a card reader at least, can't send the file there via magic

Once you update the camera will auto delete the file as well. Mac or PC it's all drag and drop.
There is no firmware out for the Marcus 3 yet, but for the TF2 it's a bit weird to actually start the update.

Boot camera and stop recording
Press the Mute/Down key to enter the playback mode
In the playback mode, press REC and UP key together at the same time for five seconds to start the update.
Reset to default settings after updating
