Hi guys first post on the forum (great forum btw)

Im looking for some advice. Im buying my first decent dashcam and i want some advice please
I have read all the stickies and recommended cameras for different scenarios but what i am after is
a camera that is simpleton proof.

My requirements are as follows

good video quality

middle of the range type price

and heres the big thing for me > i need it to be simple to just plug in and get to my video files

I have bought a budget chinese camera but im not too pleased with it. It seems a bit of a nightmare calling the video files off the camera. Is there a camera that just makes this part of the process easy ? i read the stickies but most of the reviews feature the camera quality and features . Not many show the file transfer from the camera to your computer

Welcome to DCT. The simplest way to transfer files to computer is to remove the MicroSD card from the DashCam, insert it into a USB card reader, & insert it into the computer. Example of card reader ...

its basically the same as this camera, im a bit disappointed with it , altho my bad completely for not doing any homework regarding the purchase
