Is the external GPS module universal ?

I would like to ask if the external GPS module can be use for any dashcam that uses an external GPS module or is it model specific?

Tried few mix and match but no akways they fit as one-for-all.
All depends on how many pins is jack, what size ( 2.5mm or 3.5mm ), Sirf3 or Sirf4, and so on.
