I am in the market for a new Dash Cam for my new car ( I have the soon to be upgraded A118C in my older car) and placed an order for an A119 on amazon two days ago.

On a hunch I checked Amazon for a A119S and to my surprise I found some IN STOCK!

Needless to say I cancelled the A119 order and ordered my A119S. Should be here in a couple of days. I can't wait to hardwire this bad boy in!

P.S. The camera I linked lacks the GPS Module so I simply ordered one separately here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/B01IE20BQI
P.S. Can anyone confirm if the CPL Filter I purchased is the correct one made by VIOFO?

nydashcamcams Welcome to DCT forum.
Remember SD card.
One of our member made this excellent video, how to get the best SD card for dashcam.

Does the NT96660 this cam uses incorporate fisheye correction?

Normally the fisheye correction is similar as ZOOM the video.
For dash cam, better to choose a good lens for smaller FOV than using fisheye correction.

The fisheye correction can be done also by firmware or software, not only by zoom. But both of solutions will affect the video quality, so the right solution is to use better lens.
I observed that A119S have less fisheye effect on image compared to A119.

Sure it's better to do it optically but that wasn't my question.

I ask again: Does the NT96660 have that?

This will be a feature I will be looking for in my next camera. I've observed some really nice wide angle video with minimal fisheye using the Ambarella chip.
