looking for a remote camera dash dvr

I'm looking for a dash cam that the sensor is remote mountable.

Basically, I want to mount the screen/recorder in one location and the camera/sensor about a 12-16" away.

Image qality should be at least as good as a g1w.

Mobius isn't going to do it. Extention cables aren't long enough and no screen.

I'm not going to say price doesn't matter, because it does. Around the $100 mark is about where I'd like to top out.

Rear cam would also be good, but probably not available or not available at this price point.

Anyone know if such a beast exists?
