Looking No Hardwire Option

Hi, I'm looking for a dashcam where it's not hardwired and retains the date and time. Also if anything where the recording format is not .mp4, where I understand that mp4s have an issue if cut off and shutdown while recording the file is not viewable.
I don't care about other options like price, dual cam, size....

How about a trail/gaming camera or a battery-based body camera?
