Has anyone found a reliable 512 or 1TB card for the A139?

Has anyone successfully been using a 512GB card with the A139 (not the A139 Pro)? If so, what card and did you need to do any special formatting to get it to work?

used the a139 with a 512GB Samsung Evo (red version), no problems.no special formatting necessary, just right-click on windows > format

don't let me lie, about 6 months? i continue to use these in my a139 Pro, i know, is the wrong card for it, but works.

How long did you use it successfully in the A139? I assume you confirmed the camera was using the whole 512GB and not just 256GB?

As mentioned, about 6 months in the A139, now 2 months in the A139 Pro, full 512 Gb.

Sandisk High Endurance 256GB frustratingly works for 30-40 minutes and then shuts the camera down. An old Sandisk Extreme A2 64GB works well. I will order a larger version of this card.

According to Viofo's website:
Only A139 Pro 4K/A129 Pro 4K/A229 Duo/A119 Mini are tested ok with Viofo 512GB Card.

I wouldn't automatically assume this rules out compatibility with the A139, manufacturers are often keen to push their latest & greatest.

As mentioned, about 6 months in the A139, now 2 months in the A139 Pro, full 512 Gb.

Hey how's it running now for the A139 Pro??? It's Feb 2024 so 11-12 months
