NEW Lukas LK-9390 AD with ADAS

Looks almost exactly 9370.
Pretty sure besides the gold face plate, its the same housing.

The 9390 has a closed off port where the USB wifi dongle would sit.
While the 9370 has the T/S port, which as far as I know, it doesn't use.

Quick update.

T/S (turn signal) works with a 3.5 mm mono (TS) jack.

Two lines come off the mono Jack. Depending which line has the flowing +. The camera can detect which signal light is activated.
From my brief testing, and unsuccessful attempt to install in my car.... The camera detects voltages around 12V DC. The camera doses NOT detect voltages under 5V's. (Need to spend more time testing this)

Rear camera is a new version. LK979

this might be a problem for vehicles that use CAN bus systems so best to check before connecting anything up

It's become clear I spoke to soon.

Although a 2 phase mono jack works.
The cameras T/S input was designed for a 3phase jack. As seen in the manual.

As shown in the photo, one of the three leads in a ground.

I need to play around with this more. But I am suspecting that once using a three phase jack, with a ground wire. The camera will detected lower voltages.

BITRATE UPDATE

Just had a minute to run analysis on the video.
Video settings were set to highest quality.

11 mbps both front and rear.
Hmm... compared to 9370/7950's 6.8 mbps front and 5.7 mbps rear, almost double bit rate.

Just finished doing a teardown.
I can confirm that the LK-9390 is using the A7LA70 chipset.

Wow, I've been waiting for a dual channel cam with a high bit rate. Can you turn off all that ADAS stuff or is it on all the time no matter what?

Of course. There ADAS in comprised of three parts, all of which are independently controlled with in the Lukas menu.

Good day @Calgary Dash Camera - Robert after 4 month do you have some updates/news about this model? How is reliability? What about parking mode? Just feel free to share :)))

Thanks in advance.

Hey Shigaon,

I have been running the LK-9390 since day one. I have had no problems with general reliability. Each firmware update has improved the ADAS. Lane departure still needs some work.
Parking mode works great. Just like other Lukas cameras.
Overall, I am very happy with this camera.
