Not there when it counted?

Well, I clicked on the file and it just played without any problems. I'm running Linux Mint with firefox, and it played fine in firefox.

Video played just fine on the OneDrive link via Brave browser on my android.
Same here using MS Edge on a Windows 11 OS.

Edit: Also played fine using Firefox on the same system.

Well I guess we got it figured out.
I don't know how, or why.
It turns out the video file was on the SD Card but your computer could not play the video.
Who knows?

I clicked the link, and it started playing on my Chromebook.
But the resolution was only 1080p.
I downloaded the video file to my Chromebook.
However my Chrombook could not play the file because it's H.265, (all I get is a small black screen with audio only).
So I uploaded the video file to YouTube, and not only does it work but we get the full 4K resolution.

I used the RedTiger app that they included in the file. When I tried to use Edge it didn't play. I didn't try Chrome. I haven't updated to Windows 11 on my personal machine. When I retire, I'm going with Linux OS. I'll have time to learn it then. Microsoft lost me with their AI bloat and subscription model for Windows 11. What idiots.

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU TO THIS COMMUNITY!!! You jumped in and helped a DashCam illiterate newbie without condensation or snark.

I'll probably reinstall the old DashCam in my new (used) car.

Thanks for the update.
If you're going to put the RedTiger dash cam back in service you might want to replace the SD Card with a brand new / fresh unit.
SD Cards wear out over time, maybe that was a factor in this malfunction.
Oh yeah, and always remember to format the SD Card at least once a month.

I suggest Linux Mint Cinnamon. It is stable, and the user interface is very similar to Windows.
