I have a polariser from Polarizit and I still have lots of glare showing during the day and night. Are you meant to rotate the lens?

Yes, the Polarizit CPL lense is a rotating lense.

To set it for your vehicle, connect your phone to the camera so you can see a live video feed from the front camera.
Put a white piece of paper on your dashboard, so you can see the glare reflection on your live feed on your phone.
Then slowly rotate the CPL filter so the white glare starts to fade.
Turn the CPL filter until the white reflection is the faintest it will go. It won't fully disappear.
Once your set it to the faintest it will go - you're all finished.
