Dash Cam
BlackVue DR900x-Plus in 2022 Palisade replaced the 650
Rather than run back and forth to my car what would be the hazard of temporarily running my Blackvue from one of those 120 AC to 12 volt DC adaptors? The DC is not a true DC but does it matter, would hate to fry my new dashcam.
EDIT: purchased a 120 to 12 adapter and it worked great.. no smoke at all.

Not a Blackvue expert, but make sure you get the polarity the right way around - 12V connectors occur both ways around so that it is easy to release the smoke from inside electronic devices ;)

Most dash cams use a USB power connection. Why not just use a USB power wall wart like the one you are probably using to charge your phone?

Most (all?) Blackvue cameras use 12v-24v input power.
