Dash Cam
BlackSys CH-100B 2-Ch
First post and new dash cam user. I've got a BlackSys CH-100B 2-ch and am very happy with it. The security LEDs are a configurable option on both the front and rear cams. I'm interested to hear people's opinions and rationale for using the security LED or not. Thanks.

Welcome to DCT. My thoughts: Always Off. I never want people to know I have a dash cam. Yours is already tiny and hidden, don't attract attention to it. In the US people in general likely won't know what it is anyways if they see the light, or even the device itself.

Ditto always hidden, even in a crash dont tell any one, cuz if there is a part thats lying let him/her bury them self under their own lies, and then whip out your evidence later.

Do I use them (as security LEDs)? No.
Do I disable them? No! :)
They face inwards so it doesn't matter. But if they drew attention from the outside I would certainly disable them.
Imagine someone shifty is checking out your vehicle, then realises he's being filmed. He would break in just to remove the evidence.

Thanks for the feedback!
