I think maybe its a camera that dump a player software on the sd card along with recordings, but if that's the case the camera should dump that again on a clean memory card.
But just about any player can play dashcam recordings, you only need dedicated player if you want to see GPS track on map, and if that's the case registrator viewer or others should work fine too.
