I just installed the small square rear dash cam on the inside of my hatch. I noticed that on the corners there appear to possibly be 4 tiny pieces of tape/covering on the cam. Are these to be left in place or removed? Thank you!

Those 4 things around the lens in the middle, those are IR light emitters, which if you have them on will probably reflect in the glass and blind the camera.
