Thinkware Cloud app will not connect to iPhone hotspot nor WIFI

Hello I really could use some help please
Thinkware q800pro can't find WIFI
It finds or pops up after about 30 minutes , once I open the app and go to the setup it disconnects.
so again try for 30 minutes connects it never end
Am not sure what am doing wrong
Ford 2018 F150 it does have WIFI and hotspot
My phone
iPhone 11 software version 14.5.1
can you guys please help me
PS it always says GPS connected
 
Depending on how far you have gotten this might apply.
The very first thing you need to make sure of. Is that the dash cam got registered with the cloud service. Instructions here


If you don’t get past the agreements. The camera is not registered.
The phones hotspot is the first connection that should be setup. If for example. You already added the trucks hotspot than you should reset to factory and start all over again.
take your time and don’t rush from one step to the next. The hardest part is getting the camera registered and the phones hotspot added. Once you get past that. Adding other connections is very easy and the camera will jumó from one to the other as needed.
The instructions have to be followed to the letter. Specially the hotspot on the phone has to be off. Until you get to the step that tells you to turn it on.
If you have to try again. Make sure you turn the hotspot off again before you retry.
