Thinkware X700 or Blackvue DR650S-2CH?

My mom's car got keyed, so I wanted to get her a dashcam with the best parking mode.
I think I will keep it on buffered motion detection setting.
I will connect a Cellink battery also, so she doesn't end up with the possibility of a dead car battery.
These two dashcams are very similar in price, Thinkware X700 and Blackvue DR650S-2CH.
Any reason to get one over the other?

To my understanding, the factory support for the DR650 has ended or soon will due to it's age and of there being newer cams now. That doesn't mean it's no good; only that whatever it is now is all it will ever be.
