I’m looking for some help with my 70mai 4K Dash Cam (A810/T800E) setup. I live in Milan, Italy, and I’m having trouble getting the 4G remote monitoring to work.

I’m looking for some help with my 70mai 4K Dash Cam (A810/T800E) setup. I live in Milan, Italy, and I’m having trouble getting the 4G remote monitoring to work.
The Setup:
- Camera: 70mai A810.
- Hardwire Kit: 70mai 4G Hardwire Kit (UP04).
- Installation: Done by a professional auto electrician.
- Status: Basic functions work perfectly. It records in parking mode, and I can connect via the local Wi-Fi hotspot to view footage.
What I’ve tried so far:
- SIM Prep: Inserted the SIM into a smartphone first. I disabled the PIN code, verified that data/roaming works, and tested the APN.
- APN Settings: I tried both the default TIM APN and the specific Kena Mobile APN (web.kenamobile.it).
- Connectivity: When I start the car, the dashcam still only works via the local hotspot; the 4G remote features remain inactive in the app.
- SIM Compatibility: Could the issue be that it’s a "Voice + Data" SIM rather than a "Data-only" IoT SIM?
- Installation: Is it possible the kit is wired incorrectly, even though the parking surveillance mode is working fine?
- APN/Settings: Are there any specific settings I might be missing within the 70mai app to "force" the 4G activation?
- 5G SIM in 4G Hardware: The SIM is a 5G-enabled card. Could this cause handshake issues with the 70mai 4G modem?
