Received an email from BlackVue Support Team on Friday 25th.

The new v1.007 firmware with all the bug fixes is expected to be released next week (this week).

So if you have problems with Cloud/Live View, keep an eye at download page at Blackvue.com!

I had this back a while ago, thought I’d put it here for future searches on the red light.

“The red light being solid error occurs if the firmware is not properly downloaded or if the NAND memory of the dashcam is broken and the most probable reason for this error is if the dashcam is unplugged from power source during firmware upgradation.
If the issue recurs even after upgrading the dashcam through your computer, then the NAND memory is definitely broken and the only way to fix it is through RMA.”

Hope the next update resolves the issues.

Just noticed my camera doing the same thing when I updated it to 1.007.
I’ve been trying to get the 1.005 firmware with no luck at all as I’ve been getting this on my laptop (screenshot from my iPad)
Any help would be appreciated.

V.1.006 wifi signal weak same distance is the obvious problem connection problems ,dropped signals

V.1.005 wifi good, stable , no problems
