Vantrue E360

@Augustus

N4 Pro and E1 best dashcams so far. At least, this dashcams are doing a great job but they are not 360
Ah so it is that video. Yeah those marketing videos no matter what tech product, are overly fake and the resolution of the videos shown are way too crisp compared to what the actual output is. I think most consumers realise that and aren't bothered by it.

E360 is first gen so even though I'm not smitten with it either, it's at least an effort and they've tried. And they've got something to build on for their next product

@Augustus no, actually there are people falling for this false advertisment. If you read some comments, you'll understand. So much excitment for potential customers, after that, nothing. No other good comments and this is because customers are pretty disappointed. At least they could get close to 4k, not 2,7k + 2,7k

Dunno, it is a 360 camera and it's priced so as a high end camera. To be honest, will see how the sales turn out for this model and if there's a successor. That will be the metric for success here

1TB memory card from Vantrue has appeared on German Amazon.

When this memory card is installed in the E360 2CH, the E360 2CH will be able to shoot in 2K+2K resolution
(front + interior) without interruption for 75 hours and 45 minutes.

Interesting, It's not available for delivery to the US

I have been using samsung 1tb cards just fine. Amazon.
Viofo dashcams have traditionally been pretty funny with certain brand cards, but your right Vantrue and 70mai I've found are pretty ok with cards in general.

Still, another card option is an option for customers nonetheless and it all helps

You likely have to wait until it's available in the US warehouse.

You have such good rear visibility you hardly need a rear camera
I wish I installed my second camera closer to the left side the way you did, the Viofo is really not obstructing much
that is excellent parking visibility
I think sometimes we get hung up on being able to see a microscopic dot 20 feet away in all lighting conditions but sometimes just getting a decent broad view is sufficient and the E360 demonstrates this.

I was unable to test the E1 Pro at high temperatures, but the E360 that hangs in my son's car coped with the heat well.
It worked in the parking lot in the "Low bitrate recording" mode for several hours at an outside temperature of +35 degrees Celsius
and did not turn off.

By chance, a card with an E360 fell into my hands. I hoped that an interesting trip would remain,
but by chance all the good records were erased and only a trip in the rain remained.
But even in such weather, the numbers are readable in some places and even completely.
Also, the traffic situation on the video is satisfactory.
But most of all, this model is suitable for monitoring the parking lot, as well as for using it on picnics with a selfie stick with a battery.

It was a sunny Sunday, and we went boating
to close out the boating season. It's gotten cold here, so we're not planning any more trips.
I took the E360 with me to capture the landscape and the action on the water.
The weather was gorgeous. Except for a slight breeze, but it didn't blow all day and not everywhere.
But turning on recording on the touchscreen really got me.
Either I wouldn't start recording, or I'd mess up the settings, or something else would happen.
The touchscreen is great indoors, but not outdoors in sunny weather.
And it also limits my movement. When I'm free, I usually only have one hand...
I wrote to Vantrue, asking about starting recording manually, with the E360 turned on.
They promised to consider implementing this scenario.
