In my camera HP f800x, it has an option is "AAC/DEC alert" which produces voice or beep when the car accelerates 20 km/h in one second when driving at speeds at 80km/h, or decelerates 30km/h in one second when driving at speeds under 50km/h after position determined by GPS. I know how it work but i really don't know what it work for ? Could you explain and show me example to understand ? I don't see any dangerous to alert.

Haven't heard of that but can't see a practical application

I screen shot Camera User Manual. And yeah, I don't see any practical application, too. :(

It may be useful to let you know you ran into a very large brick wall?
(Assuming you are alive and can hear the beep)

The thing I can think of them attempting to do with this is some method to increase fuel economy by avoiding heavy acceleration, and braking.

Or.. to see if the person you loaned the car to is driving aggressively??

Unless it records the incident , somehow, not sure anyone would know later?
