Xiaomi Yi Custom firmware with lastest revision

Hello guys... A silly question but, what if i want to use 2 or more features , for example to enable RAW photos AND more sharpness , can i "fit" them in one autoexec.ash file? Copy-paste ? :) . Or if i want to use RAW script , i will have to remove sharpness script and vise versa??

Yes, you can. Make sure the only empty line is at the end of the file. For example:

Code:
#enable raw+jpeg stills
t app test debug_dump 14
#set noise reduction value to 1536
t ia2 -adj tidx -1 1536 -1

Do you mean more sharpness for videos? Because raw photos are not sharpened on the camera but only later when you work with them and export them.

Thank you Shamo42 , that was very helpful :) .... Yes i mean for videos, just said that for example :)

Hello guys. Sorry if i choose wrong topic.
Waiting for my yi camera and looking for suitable sd card for it. Choose MicroSDHC Kingston SDCA3/32GB UHS-I U3.
Will it work good with this 35 mbit custom firmware and raw+jped scripts?

Maybe you give some suggestions. I'm not looking for 64 gb card because listened that some cards have issues working with yi camera...maybe it's wrong gossip =)

Remember 35 mbit is 3.5MB/s. An U3 card is 30MB/s. So is more than enough.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum and pretty new to Yi camera. So far i've already managed to set it up to record at 35 mbit. Right now i want to add a script to get the most of the camera. What should i use? As far as i know YiMax is not working in 1.2.13 version. I have 23L version. I will be shooting mostly with 1080 and 60fps. Thanks in advance!

the YiMax script is working you only have to adjust the adresses for resolution and bitrate to new firmware.
But because you set up your bitrate to 35mbits and don't need another resolution because 1080 60fps is standard selectable via app you only have to delete the correspondending lines or set hashtacks to leave aside this lines for resolution and bitrate.
...here is the YiMax with that lines deleted, enjoy and have fun.

Thank you! As i opened the file and compared to the one in the nutseynuts site i cant the no difference. Can you tell me what exactly did you change? Anyway, i can see the difference in the videos after placing the script in my camera. But it looks a bit too white for me? Does it should be like this? I think the original settings has more colours.

hello, what setting should you touch in the autoexec.ash file to have more bright colors or pastel?

i deleted the 2 lines for bitrate and resolution setting , only work in 1.2.10!

@DODIKAS and @alexil
try and test that one, adjusted for my xiaomi...i mean the sharpness and colours are good.

I would have the same result as when using my SJ4000, look!

this is the original firmware only modified taking footages in the high quality mode with 35mbits instead of 25,20, 18 depending on the resolution, for better videos.
But you need a good microsd up to class 10, for saving the bigger datasets on the card.
"Both of firmware are customized to get 35Mbps for every resolution in High Quality mode.
Medium and low quality are untouched."

...no new firmware update in sight, but it gets only about 2 minutes and a full accu to update to a new version.
The newest one is 1.2.13, maybe next is 1.2.14 not 1.3.

Thanks! So is everyone still using the one from the op or is there another one at 50mb hidden away somewhere in the thread? I have a class 10 card.

Do you mean this one?
Is set on 46Mbps and not for last firmware but for 1.2.10

I didn't mean any specific one.. just wondering which one is best :)

edit: I wonder what the limiting factor on bitrate is, SD card speed? Would be great to get 50MB's+

Please see attached file: This is my second yi (first one is at the bottom of the ocean :( ) and I don't remember noticing this severe watercolor effect?
The attached image is at 100% zoom (it's just a portion of the original image) to show what I'm talking about.
Video doesn't seem as sharp either.
This is after taking it apart for the focus fix, this seems to be the best I can get?
The video @ 1080 60fps is very soft too!
I've tried adjusting the focus ring heaps but this seems to be the best I can get? My last camera was way sharper than this :(

..what version of xiaomi you have now and the version of the last one?
...with lens replacement and refocussing with IR Filter on a 23L there is no changing in sharpness but now much better footages against sunlight.
The watercolor effect comes from noise reduction on work (digital denoising), best you see it on zooming in. You can improve this effect a little bit by fixing noise reduction to a certain value.
#noise reduction 0_no reduction(noisy but sharper)-16383_full noise reduction (no noise but less sharp)
t ia2 -adj tidx -1 1024 -1
I mean there is a software thing (the sensor will be the same in 22,23,22l,23L) and i hope someone of the specialists can find out that correspondending software locations and improving by script.
