Anyone with troubles To update. I get 100% and simple nothing happens. On the camera or the app..
 
do the manual firmware update, you can use my mirror site to be 100% sure you have complete file.
 
I updated 1.2.0 firmware but I have no possibility of timelapse also of 12MP photos in APP. Probably these functions will be enabled with new 1.8 app or not?

Someone has made a custom firmware version 1.2 with model Z22
 
z23S = Z221, Z22S, Z231, Z23A, Z23S :)

only L models are different than the rest
 
OK, So for all these in addition to Z23S :) But TRIED only on Z23S
 
I tried to edit firmware for my Z22L, but I do something wrong... can anyone upload file for Z22L 1080p 30/60 fps 30 Mb/s file?? Please ;) I don't want to brick my Yi ;D ;D I'm not specialist in customization software ;D

And one question, when I upgrade custom firmware can I still update from official update? And any problems with Android App communication?? :)

My Yi: Z22L, 1.1.0 Official Firmware, Android App 1.7 ;)

What is the difference between L and S?
 
There are hardware changes. No schematics available, so i cannot tell what are they...
 
I think this hardware changes are:


In my "22L" version I don't need fix the lens focus because it very good without my intervention, hmm there is an fabric insulation between the condensate and CPU so there is not battery drain... and I don't need to fix the microphone because voice is loud and clear, only in waterproof case is worse ;D

ONE ISSUE WHAT I CAN'T FIX IS CRACKING SOUND WHEN FILM WITH WIFI ON... it's very annoying, but without waterproof case it's passable... and in case is terrible so much! :D

Edit: Yes I try to put some tape on this small square where antenna is... a few kinds of tape: paper, isolated, common tape to paper... and it's still happens... I don't have more idea's...

official firmware files are identical for these models, so... why not?
 
Did anyone create custom firmware for Z22L ?? :( because as Andy_S say... L are different :((
