Blurry Video, Mobius 2 D lens

but since we're in the midst of the Chinese New Year holiday, who knows?

yeah anything ordered from China now would take a month at best, aside from them being away for the holidays for the next two weeks there is always a massive backlog of freight which then takes a few weeks to clear, local purchase is the best option right now

Thanks. What model Mobius are you using with this lense?
I am using the Mobius 2
With this lens, did you just unscrew the lens and screw it into the Mobius lens module. Then focus?
I first remove the glue on the Mobius 2 lens then I unscrew the lens and then I screw 4.35mm lens in and then I focus the best I could and then I fine tune the focus to get what the view show.

Thank you
The next question is easy.

Does the Mobius 2 lens have the same thread as my D lens module?

... decent image stabilisation that might come in handy for your travel videos. A 90deg version is available with very little distortion.

I'm going to buy this camera. Thanks.

Yes. Practically all dash and action cameras use M12x0.5 lenses. "M12" means that the lens barrel is 12mm in diameter - ("M" = metric). "0.5" is the pitch of the threads.

Broken record?
Nope!

Has to be said.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

It's a really big deal, your kindness.
So much time. So much of your hard earned knowledge. So freely given.

Thank you.

I don't know I only have a Mobius 2 and I am looking for another one if I can find one.

I found this on Amazon.

And this suggestion for replacement batteries

and this battery

If people wouldn't mind. Can you double check this stuff above and see if I'm missing anything.
You all have a much greater experience working with vendors, and purchasing these type of items.

BTW
Purchase this. Thank you.

I'm breaking the biggest rule in forum posting.

DOUBLE POSTING

I'm desperate. You all have been so kind. And the F1 Forum has seen few views, and very little action this month(s).

I'll be reprimanded. But, here it goes...

--------------------

Thanks.

From this thread, I learned the "YI AZ13-1 battery will work for F1".

Would anyone know where I can quickly get YI AZ13-1 battery delivered to the USA?

Ebay has only three sellers listed, and all overseas. I need some batteries quickly.

Amazon has it, but it's only offered for the "Only Compatible International Edition - Xiaomi Yi Action Camera" and I don't know if that version will work with the F1 I purchase today.

Because of shipping times. I've narrowed it down to these vendors.
Huge disparity in prices.

Please, if you can tell me these will work with F1.

Thank you.

if you can't pickup a spare battery maybe look at using a power bank with the camera for when you need longer record times, will keep it going a lot longer than the internal battery ever would

Yes. Thank you.
I already purchase this battery backup suggested by jmdlcar

BATTERY
https://www.ebay.com/itm/142661737977

I use the camera strapped on my head. Using modified head lamp straps.
Heck. I guess I could run a cable into a backpack porting the battery - that's a joke (I think).

I would recommend canceling the order for that power bank if you still can. It is highly unlikely that you will find an actual 50,000 mAh power bank for $13.99. Also, solar powered power banks are not a wise idea IMHO because it's not good to leave lithium-ion batteries cooking in the hot sunshine. A cheapo Chinese generic power bank like in the link you refer to is likely to be unreliable, far lower in capacity than advertised and may possibly even have safety issues.

You'd be better off with a quality name brand power bank of perhaps 5000 mAh or 10,000 mAh that will fit in a pocket, is lighter in weight and that comes with a warranty and good customer support. A smaller power 5000 mAh power bank will run your new camera for many, many hours and would be more than adequate for a pocket travel camera. Of course, a power bank of any decent capacity will also be useful for charging your camera's original internal battery.

Recommended power bank products to look at would be from Anker, PowerADD, RAVpower and a few others.

I'll buy it at Costco. The local store has "two, separate 10K banks" for $40, and a 90 day return policy.
Thanks.

Done.

Just to say.
The vendor has a super high rating on Ebay.
https://www.ebay.com/usr/valuebuybattery

Super High
Like 778,822 reviews, with a 98.6 positive feedback.

The vendor's rating has literally nothing to do with the quality of the cheap generic power banks he may be selling. I see that vendor offers a wide range of general cheap Chinese consumer products including nail clippers and party lights. Trust me, I'm the veteran of many power bank purchases going back to a time when it was hard to find a name brand quality power bank with a warranty and actual customer service. Power banks can potentially be dangerous so you don't want a cheapo generic no-name from China. Aside from safety issues, if you are traveling in an exotic location you want something durable and reliable.

Like I said, I would primarily recommend Anker, PowerADD and RAVpower.

I would also recommend taking a little bit of time to learn more about power banks before racing out to buy one.

Trust me,...

Yep.
It was a stupid purchase for all the reasons you mention. But I should have know better. Who in their right mind would want to lug that thing around traveling? As soon as I read that part, I stopped reading and was back at Ebay cancelling the order. Really, I used to carry 4 or more, 500 mb (yes, MB) computer HD's around, and I'm constantly celebrating the smaller cameras, and storage we currently have.

I have to step away. I'm desperate (yeah, racing) and making foolish mistakes. Thanks for saving my as. Really. Thanks.

@zznoname, I took the time to have a closer look at that 50,000 mAh generic power bank and the listing says, "It is normal that the temperature of the power bank is a bit high during charging". OMG, that's not true!! If a lithium-ion cell power bank gets warm or hot during charging it should be taken out of service and disposed of.

Anyway, yeah, I was thinking about the weight and size of a typical power bank that most of us would use for our dash cams in a car. A better alternative might be to carry one (or more )smaller ones that you can just slip in your pocket with a cable going to your F1.

For example, you could get a little Anker 3350mAh "Lipstick-Sized" Power-Core+ Mini portable charger. Something like that will provide plenty of run time for a pocket travel cam and even with two of them you'd hardly know they were in your pocket.

PowerAdd has a 5000 mAh version.

I like that very much. Yes. Perfect. Better. Best.
Thank you.

Just HOW MUCH time do you think I would get from the Anker Lipstick?
We did a 7 hour trek with the Mobius 1 running all the time, and did not go through/use up, all 5 of the 820mHa batteries available.

And this will solve the dangers of swapping out batteries. And... can be used with both the Mobius & F1.

Brilliant.
