I have been running 1.02.05 for about a month now and it is clearly more stable than past versions. The biggest fix for me is that it no longer corrupts the memory card.
However, i am still experiencing random lockups and reboots at least 1 or 2 times a week. Something odd that i noticed is...
Just had a crash/lockup earlier today :( when i was leaving for an event. Cam was solid for about 6 days though. Not entirely sure if fat32 has anything to do with it, but it appears more stable than exfat.will keep monitoring.
Are you guys using exFat or FAT32? Once I reformatted to FAT32 on Monday I have had zero issues w/ timer at 6 hours and BDP at 12.4volts. So far so good, but I would still like to keep testing for a few more days. Another thing that seems to be resolved is that the time to record upon bootup...
I am using two of these cards
I dont think its a wiring issue as i previously had the bdp and timer off as it was causing lockups/card errrors. I still had lockups but maybe once a week. Definitely not as frequent when i have the bdp stuff on.
Just had a lockup today as I was leaving work w/ latest beta firmware. When I started my car, the camera powered on and everything seemed to go well. After about 2 minutes of driving, I decided to touch the camera to turn the screen on to see if it was still working and the camera was...
There is something definitely screwy with the latest firmware. I ended up finally totally disabling all parking mode features and the stability has increased (no more card corruption). However, I was driving earlier and while stuck in traffic the X2 decided to randomly reboot ???. I lost about a...
What strikes me as really odd is that I am only getting a corrupted sdcard on the front camera. Last time I got the 'insert front card' error (probably 6th time through the various firmwares), I decided to swap my cards as I thought perhaps the front card was faulty. However, just now after...
Still doesn't explain why I can go to any PC (Mac, Windows, or Linux), run repair, and I am back in business. It would be great (added to wishlist) if the cam had some error recovery built in if there is corruption. There has to be a library of sort that the firmware can leverage. Not a...
