There is still some additional tuning happening to see how performance can be enhanced with the new sensor. This will be ongoing even after release of course.
I'm only watching on the phone - T1 looks brighter but I'm guessing T2 may be better for number plate readability with xenons - it reminds me of the LS460W with exposure turned down.
Great quality in either vid on my phone though and I'm looking forward to seeing these on my PC Monday!
Are these videos from Sungmoon / the manufacturer then?

For V 1.0 Which Night Time tuning example does everyone like better?
I prefer T1 as well, but it would be nice to see the same comparison in a less well lit area to see how the camera copes with low levels of lighting like in rual roads and highways.
I downloaded both raw files ( witch was a pleasure at 4 Mb/s on my new connection )
I think the first street he turn right onto is a useable example for the average Danish street, but then he turn again and i am thinking are these ppl affraid of the dark
Anyway i like both but i favor the T2 example.
I would like to see a Picture of the camera mounted in the car, just to see if it is a bird nest of wires, or if its a super clean install like i prefer them.
I am a Little unsure as to how close the camera front is to the average windscreen, with the Mount used.
And i am unsure as to how the power and rear camera wire come off the camera, if they come off in large loops it will make it hard to make a stealthy install as most of us western ppl prefer.
Good News, the Night Performance has been tuned-up even further the past 24 hours!
The innovation will be non-stop as new tricks are learned on the new sensor. PQ will only get better from here.
Check out these latest samples. (use VLC Player for clearest results)
I just learned something pretty exciting. You'll be happy to know that the new night time tuning techniques learned in the X2 here, can and will be applied to the Panorama G as well!
The X2 has a different lens, but PQ night time improvements will be made for sure.
(innovation is non-stop as usual)
